About Me

Real estate is often tied to dreams, but it can also be about resolution.

People buy and sell homes at some of the most significant points in their lives. Sometimes the reason is exciting-a marriage, a new job, children, a first home, retirement or finally making a move they've been thinking about for years. Other times, a sale comes because circumstances have changed through divorce, the death of someone we love, aging, financial changes or simply reaching the point where a home no longer fits the life we're living.

Those are very different experiences, but they have something in common: people are moving from one stage of life into another. I think it's important to understand that when you're working with someone in real estate.

I came into real estate because I wanted work that would allow me to stay in Kaslo and raise my family here. That was important to me, so I found a way to make it happen. Over the years, the work became much more than a way to earn a living. It taught me a great deal about people, community and what we need when we're arriving somewhere new, leaving a place we've called home or trying to figure out what comes next.

My own story began in Domeli, in the Punjab region of India. When I was five years old, my family moved to Toronto. My life eventually brought me west to Argenta and then to Kaslo. Having made those moves myself, I understand that finding a house is only one part of finding your place somewhere.

That has shaped the way I work. Real estate here isn't just about a property. People often need to understand the community, local services, trades, infrastructure and how things work in a smaller rural area. They need to know who to call, where to find reliable information and sometimes simply where to start. I believe part of my job is making those connections and giving my clients enough information to understand their choices and make their own decisions with confidence.

I also believe a good REALTOR® and client relationship is a partnership. It requires honesty, communication and trust on both sides. I will give you my knowledge, experience and opinion, including when I think something needs to be looked at more carefully. In return, I want my clients to feel comfortable asking questions, telling me what matters to them and being part of the process.

Living in small communities has taught me that relationships are built over time. They come from showing up, being straightforward and genuinely caring about what happens to people.

Whether someone is moving toward something they've dreamed about or working through circumstances they never expected, my role is the same: to help them understand the real estate, make informed decisions and move forward into whatever comes next.
