  • Clinics, dental, pharmacy and vet services are all in Trail, minutes away.

Getting around

  • Warfield sits on Highway 3B on the hill between Trail (~6 min east) and Rossland (~10–15 min west) — the best dual access of the Greater-Trail villages.
  • It’s on Trail’s urban BC Transit routes (better transit than the valley villages), and Castlegar’s airport is ~35–40 min. Low elevation means mild winters toward Trail; the Rossland-direction hill climbs in winter.

Recreation

  • RED Mountain Resort (Rossland) is ~10–15 min up the hill — the closest ski access of the Trail-area communities — and Rossland’s renowned mountain biking is right there too.
  • Trail’s Aquatic & Leisure Centre, arena and hockey culture are ~6 min; Champion Lakes Park and area golf are a short drive.
